The Purpose of the Department

• Graduating specialized students for intensive care departments in public and private hospitals. The graduates would be capable to handle the pressures of work, be responsible towards patients in high-risk and critical situations, and provide health care to them in accordance with quality international standards in accordance with world health protocols.

• Developing students' agency in the field of intensive care and raising their awareness of the community’s health needs.

• Graduating specialists in various medical fields through providing them with solid knowledge and high skills in their specialties and preparing some of them academically to join the academic staff.
