It depicts the branching of research into five petals, within each of which there is a dot symbolizing the idea. The human research brain nourishes it with its five mature cells, in addition to other emerging cells. At the head of the flower is the emblem of the University of the East, rising upward through its pages and decoration. Its shades of green symbolize the developing, mellow, and wonderful thought.
