Within the framework of the cultural and sporting activities held by the Activities Office at Al-Sharq University, a chess tournament was held, which witnessed active participation from students and lecturers. The league was organized in two stages, with rounds conducted twice at the university.

In the first stage, players who would advance to the second stage were determined based on their performance. In the second stage, the winners were honored and prizes were presented to them in a special ceremony.
