On Tuesday, 12/5/2023, Al-Sharq University held a ceremony honoring the top students at Al-Sharq University.

First, the celebration was opened by Mr. Musa Al-Moussa, Vice President of the Joint Presidency for Student Affairs.

- Distinguished male and female students, working academic and administrative staff, and distinguished guests.

I am pleased to welcome you all to this blessed ceremony that brings us together at the beginning of a new year of work, learning and development at Al-Sharq University, the University of Science, Creativity and Development. With these words, A. Rana Abdel Qader, the joint presidency of Al-Sharq University, opened her speech.

Then I spoke about the pride of Al-Sharq University in its male and female students who represent an elite group of ambitious young men and women, and that the university appreciates its working academic and administrative staff, who are making distinguished and sincere efforts, and that we believe that science is the key to success and progress and that science is our true wealth and our lasting hope.

She concluded her speech with these words: “We look forward to making Al-Sharq University a station for science, creativity, and excellence and a reference for knowledge, culture, and dialogue.”

Then, the top students at the university were honored, in addition to cards of thanks and appreciation given to the students participating in the first international conference held by the university.

At the end of the ceremony, there was a theatrical performance presented by the Cultural Center in Raqqa, and an introduction ceremony for new students at Al Sharq University.
