At the beginning of the new academic year, the University of the East organized a comprehensive workshop for all its academic staff. The workshop began today with a lecture given by Professor Imad Al-Karraf, a member of the Judicial Inspection Committee in Raqqa and Tabqa. The lecture was titled “Democratic Rights” and covered several main topics, including:

The meaning of rights and law

A brief historical overview of the law

Democratic law and how to apply it through the social contract

This workshop aims to enhance and develop the academic aspect in a way that serves the goals of the university.
