The University Council held its regular meeting for the 2024/2025 academic year at Al Sharq University on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, to discuss future plans aimed at developing the university on both the academic and administrative levels.

The meeting began with a reading and discussion of reports prepared by the colleges and institutes, followed by an evaluation of performance and work during the first semester.

At the conclusion of the meeting, several recommendations and proposals were approved, most notably:

- Preparing a questionnaire to be presented to students regarding the retake of the midterm exam. This questionnaire will be implemented by the Academic Vice President and the Vice President for Student Affairs, and its results will be submitted to the Administrative Body and then to the University Council.

- Forming a committee to evaluate questions and analyze the results of the first semester.
