The University of the  sharq Council and the Women's Council held their regular meeting on Thursday 8/18/2024.

The meeting began with reading the reports prepared by the council members representing the bodies and students, and they were discussed extensively.

The meeting addressed several main topics, including discussing the strategic plans for the coming year.

The opening of new branches and departments of the University of the East in the Tabqa area was also discussed, including the Kurdish Language Institute

and the Engineering Institute, which includes the departments of mechanics and electricity.
